Sycamore Gap
The Sycamore Gap tree was probably the most famous tree in the UK until it was illegally felled in September 2023. A year later The National Trust Magazine featured a cover story on the tree one year on using a fairly standard photograph which led me to create what I believe to be a more impactful illustration of the tree.
